Emerging Web Media @ NUI Galway
December 12th, 2006
John Breslin posts about his new module on Emerging Web Media, being offered to students at NUI Galway in 2007. His outline indicates that they will learn about everything from blogs to delicious things, around the framework of the emergent trends and technologies being employed for media communication through the Web. Sounds like a fascinating course and a really good way to make the connections between various interesting current topics. He also promises to post the slides online, which will be a great resource for other new media researchers and teachers. The legal aspects of these emerging technologies are very fertile ground for study, incidentally!
